MCPS opens middle school sports to sixth graders

Sixth graders can now join MCPS middle school sports. Fall registration is open in ParentVUE for softball and cross country, with a current physical and medical forms required.

Sixth-grade students can participate in MCPS middle school interscholastic athletics beginning in 2026–2027. Registration is open in ParentVUE.
